The Shepherd's Haven Day Center The Day Center is a ministry to individuals with developmental disabilities (20 years or older) providing a safe, exciting place to have day activities ranging from work related to fun-filled experiences in a Christian setting.

The vision to create a place to offer personal development and activities has grown from concept to reality with the opening on February 1, 2006. Currently, Shepherd's Haven Day Center is being housed at Bellevue Baptist Church. This program is licensed by the Department of Human Services.

Some of our activities include creating pottery including beautiful crosses, jewelry, tabletop accessories and our signature lambs. Our work is sold locally and on the web at www.theshepherdshaven.etsy.org.

Our field trips include restaurants, museums, ministry settings, plays, parks, sporting events and much more. For more information and pictures of our various events visit shepherdshaven.shutterfly.com.

Shepherd's Haven Day Center is open each weekday from 9:00-3:30 throughout the year, and is operated by a caring, experienced staff and loving volunteers. Susan Babin is the director of Shepherd's Haven Day Center and oversees the daily operations and activities. Each week the participants spend their time working with pottery, and participating in physical activities, field trips, and devotionals. The monthly cost for each participant is $350.
